Kate’s first music video released

// October 3rd, 2006 // No Comments » // Media, Music

The music video my daughter Kate had a part in is playing now on CMT. The group is Heartland from Huntsville and the song is “I Loved Her First”. You can view it on the CMT website at http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/heartland__2_/artist.jhtml. To view it online, you’ll have to use internet explorer. CMT isn’t up to the new stuff yet.

Kate is the girl with freckles in the middle of the song. Way to go Kate.

Kate’s first commercial and music video

If you live in Nashville, you may have seen the St. Thomas Heart Institute commercials airing recently on most local channels. My daughter Kate was cast in one of the roles. The commercial shows several different scenes of people with red hearts falling from the sky. She plays the part of the girl spinning, catching hearts as they fall. She had a great time and we really enjoyed the experience. Great group of folks to work with.

Kate also shot a scene in a music video recently for a country group called “Heartland“. The single is called “I Loved Her First” and is currently #1 on iTunes Country chart. Launch South Pictures produced the video that was directed by Todd Schaffer and produced by Barry Thiessen. Lofton Creek Records is the indie label that picked them up.

I’ve heard the entire album and it is really good. Kudos to the band.

And great job, Kate. A couple more of these and I may not have to work any more.
