Latest Wordpress update is stellar

Wordpress has had a couple of updates this year with major interface changes. I just got used to the last one when 2.7 came out, but I really like it. 2.5 had a really boxy look and you had to go through a bunch of clicks to do basic actions. 2.7 has a smooth look and feel and from the WP blog it looks like a lot of feedback was applied to this release.
I’ve got Wordbook turned on again. I had to add a snippet a code to my .htaccess file for WP to see PHP5 which Wordbook requires. But that was it and it seems to be working like a charm.

Several years back I was in San Diego for a convention. I happened to visit one of my favorite restaurants: Croce’s Restaurant & Jazz Bar. Croce’s was named after Jim Croce of “Time in a bottle” fame. The place has great food and awesome music (I actually played there one night when I lived in San Diego). So I’m eating dinner there with friends and I take a picture of my food because it was like artwork in how it was presented. Using my camera phone I posted it to my blog.
Welcome to my new and improved Icon Tact blog. This is really a source for all that I’m doing now. It’s a work in progress as I’ve had to migrate all of my settings from the original site to this one. This site runs on Wordpress now instead of Movable Type and Typepad. Is so much easier to work with from plugins to widgets to just general maintenance. Oh, and it’s free with my hosting plan. So I get the domain name, email addresses, my own server space, and more for under $10 a month. Can’t beat that. Please adjust your bookmarks.
